Jenna can swim, HORRAY!!!!

On Thursday June 21st. Jenna learned how to swim on her own. She was so proad and so was I.. She had been practing to hold her breathe in her kiddie pool a week prior. So when it came down to us going to the big pool out she went and she did so well... I have video of it so once I can get it loaded I see if I can post on here.. She still wears her vest when she gets tired but honeslty I think im just going to by her a ring or a noodle from now on..

Also on Friday June 22 Jenna got her hair cut.. She wants it shorter in the back but I thold her we will wait a little before making it shorter.. She LOVES her new hair cut and so does mommy...lol.. Alot less knots while swimming..

Jenna's Recital!

Jenna had her dance recital 2 weekends ago.. They did great... This year they tapped to the song " The Lion sleeps tonight".. As u can see from the picture above the costumes were perfect... However, the recital was way to long.. 3 hrs and 45 min.. She had a show on Sat night and a show on Sun afternoon... As many know Jenna is an enterainer... Always has been, so dancing comes natural to her.. Next year if money is willing... We plan to try her out in something new. Either Gymnastics or T-Ball... She loves to perform and we do have a place here in town called SEAD but i think she is still to young for that.... We had gone in Dec. to see the kids and parents perform The Nutcracker and she loved it... She told me next year she wants to be the little girl in the show who gets the nutcracker and how she will smack the mean rat with her shoe...lol.. The mean rat tries to steal the nutcracker from the little girl... Below are a few more pictures from her recital

Another bad cough for Steve

Well Steve has had the worst cough yet due to his on going nasal and respiratory issues.. It started late Monday night. He wasn't able to hold any liquids or food down.. His cough was so bad that it was causing him to gag.. I called Tues and had directions to hold of milk and just do pedalyte. which we did but that to was coming up..So with another bad night behind us I called the doc again this AM to be seen to check his oxygen levels and to make sure he wasn't dehydrating.. His levels were OK at 96. He has an ear infection on his right ear and he is wheezy on both upper and lower lungs.. He has some mild contractions on his stomach, meaning he is working a little harder to breathe but he was good enough to be sent home.. He will be on a 5 day dose of oral steroid and a 5 day does of antibiotics along with he regular dose of Albuetral in his pump and atrovent and flovent as needed.. Neither of those 3 meds help so I rarely use them.... Today so far he has been better. The cough has decreased and he finally got to hold down some food. My brave little man was a trooper threw it all. Smiling and trying to play regardless of him not feeling good.. We see and ENT next week so hopefully we will get some answers regarding his on going illness. For alittle over 2 mths Steve was seeing a pulmonologist but nothing they have tried has worked so we are now on the journey of an ENT..

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers so we can get some answers behind this all.

Steve is talking!

OK well not fully talking, but he has said his 4th and 5th word the other day.. It was up and baba.. He can now say Dada, Mama, Papaw, up and baba...lol.. I can't believe how big he is getting... My good friend son turns one at the end of June and I just can't believe that our boys will be 1.. I started giving Steve formula last week. He was and still is going threw a growth spurt and has been eating like a mad man..lol.. He still nurses 3 times a day, I give him formula 6-8oz 3 times a day and reg food at night before his night time nursing.. I weighed him at my MIL house and he is 21lbs.. My little chunker... He can fully crawl now but still likes to drag himself and loves to stand up and walk everywhere in his walker...

Jenna finished school last wed.. She was happy and sad.. Her class sang us some songs which if u know Jenna she so loved.. just click on the link below to view..

Steve has a room!

Randy cleaned out the computer room and gave Steve his own room.. I know it was hard for Randy to give up his computer room... It was his escape from the everyday noise of family life, and mine too... Jenna was so excited Steve was getting his room.. I think she was getting jealous he got to sleep in our room every night but so did she...lol..She was so excited she decided to have a sleep over in his room and demanded her Dora sleeping bag.. So after hours of Randy cleaning it out, and tearing walls down, we finally got to move Steve's stuff in.. We, or I should say he, still needs to texture the walls and I will paint and decorate.. Here are some pictures.. Just had to share the exciting news.. Thank You Randy for taking the time to do this.. I know You work really hard and the last thing u want to do is more work... We love you!

Just another day!

Well our weekend went great.. Randy sister came down to surprise everyone for the weekend.. Mother in law graduated College.. She was in for her RN degree and she did great.. We are all so proud of her.. The kids were surprising good during both ceremony's.. Steve continues to get on all fours and takes a few crawls but then will go back to military crawling.. Jenna is almost done with school this year.. Boy did she have a blast.. It was worth every penny.. Next year she will be in Pre K which is state funded so that means no money out of our pockets.. Yey! But we still will put the same amount a month away so we can pay for school the following year.. Randy continues to work hard as normal.. He amazes me at how hard he works. He cares for his family alot and makes sure we are taken care of.. I could had not asked for a better husband and father for my kids.. We saw our 7 year slowly pass us which was nice.. Yes it has been rocky and testing but we will manage to get threw it all..

Well I have 1 picture to share with u all.. This is a picture if Steve from last night.. Do u think he was tired?

Sick Kids

( Steve learning to stand!)

(crawling down the ledge)

(And back up)

So as some know both kids have been dealing with health issues.. Jenna has been battling a snotty nose for months now.. She is going in Friday for a CT scan of her sinus.. Steve has been dealing with wheeziness.. He will get a runny nose which will cause his coughing fits then comes the terrible wheezing.. We are seeing a specialist at All Children's in St. Pete to figure out what it is causing all his problems.. He has some test done already and 4 more to go.. But due to a sinus infection the test will have to be rescheduled for at least 3-4weeks.. He will have a broncostomy(sp?), a PH Probe, allergy, and cystic fibrosis test done.. The bronc is to look in his airways to make sure there is no mass or anything blocking the area, the Ph is to test his acid in his stomach (that test is a 24hr test so we will be staying the night at the hospital), the allergy test is self explainatory...lol.. and the CF is just for precaution.. I was tested for CF while pregnant (a new testing they do now and I came back negative). But in the lighter sides of things both kids regardless of all the problems are happy. Jenna also has her first dentist appointment in a cpl of weeks.. I'm sure she must have at least a cpl of cavities.. she LOVES candy.. i try not to give her much but she can suck her daddy in with no problem...

Steve just loves taking baths.. Especially with his sissy.. Today my parents bought him a walker and boy does he love it.. He already can move forward in it.. Most kids start off my just going back wards.. He is so ready to move around it's crazy.. He is still dragging himself on the floor.. Today he did take 4 crawl steps but the flopped back on the belly and dragged himself around...

I will Keep everyone updated on the out come of both children.

Mud butts!!

If you read my title some might be asking themselves What's mud butt? Well both kids have it.. It's the runs, the poops, the leaking of the butt.. There are various names for it..

Well it looks like both kids caught some type of stomach bug. Steve started his on Friday Morning.. I didn't think much of it at first but as the day went on he continue to explode his diaper and ruin his cloths.. Jenna started hers on Sat afternoon.. We had went to a birthday party and I noticed that she wasn't into eating much. I thought it was because all the activities they had going on at the party but as it turn out she has mud butt too.. They both are fine which is a blessing..Eating some what normally, drinking, playing, laughing... No fevers, no crankiness. Just the runs.. Let's just pray Randy or I don't catch it.. You know how easily that can happen in such close quarters.

In a much lighter note Steve continues to get on all fours and rock back and forth.. He has took one step forward in real crawl stance but then flopped back on his tummy and dragged himself aimlessly around the house.. He has master going up and getting down the little ledge in our sunken in family room.. It's just amazing to see him grow so fast.. Last night Randy and Jenna fed Steve some baby food and boy was that messy.. Not because he doesn't know how to eat but because his big sissy thought it would be cute to shove a bunch of food in his mouth to watch him spit some out then rub it all over his own face, hair etc.. They then proceeded to the bath to hose him off.. Jenna just loves to help out in any way possible.. SO she volunteered to climb in the tub to scrub him down.. He just loved it.. Randy took a picture with his phone so once I get that downloaded u know I will have to share..

Well that was our day yesterday.. Hope all is well and in good spirits!

My Kids are My LIFE!

It's amazing how having children can change your life.. Yes they can be testing at times but I couldn't imagine my life without them. Every new experience Jenna has, brings so much joy to my life.. She just glows and absorbs it all in.. She has grown up so much that sometimes I find myself sadden at how fast it has happened..Where did it go? She looks forward to the day ahead and can't wait to get home to play outside with her friends..

And my baby boy Steve.. Before Steve was born Randy told me that Steve will love me and take care of me.. He said the love will be so amazing and boy was he right... He is such a mommas boy right now and I love it.. He glows every time he sees me and just gets so excited.. He is now 7 mths old and has learned to dragging himself all over the house.. He also pulls himself up from the crib and will say Dada and Mama.. We are working on Sissy now.. He loves his big sister and she loves him even more.. She is so great to him. God has truly blessed us with 2 amazing children..

Joining the in crowd!

So I will say after viewing several blogs I now find myself posting one... It's hard to keep in touch with everyone and this makes it easier for me to share the joys and not so joyful times in my life with the people I care about.. So it's official.. I'm joining the in crowd!!!!!!
